Use XLOOKUP—or skip the formula setup.

If you already have a reliable Excel workbook, keep it. XLOOKUP can match one list to another by SKU and retrieve prices. A dedicated tool is useful when the recurring setup, missing-item checks and report preparation are the work you want to remove.

Excel approach

Use an exact-match lookup, compute the price difference, and separately check for keys that appear only in the new list. Validate duplicates first: XLOOKUP returns the first match by default, so duplicate SKUs can hide ambiguity.

Delta approach

Select two CSVs, choose SKU and price columns, and confirm the price basis. Delta stops on duplicate or blank SKUs and reports increases, decreases and keys missing from either file. The paid offline edition saves column mappings and exports larger reports.

Tradeoffs

Excel handles broader spreadsheet workflows. Delta has a narrow purpose and accepts only CSV / TSV. Excel may already be included in your existing subscription; Delta’s free comparison may be all you need.
