Before you compare
Why pay when there are free comparison tools?
You may not need to. Use the free version if your files are small. Delta Offline is for repeated reviews where keeping a downloadable tool, saving mappings, and exporting larger reports is useful.
Will you upload my supplier files?
No. Parsing and comparison happen in your browser. The downloaded offline edition makes no network requests. The website sends optional usage events only with permission.
Does it support Excel workbooks or PDFs?
No. Export a worksheet as UTF-8 CSV first. Delta accepts comma, semicolon, and tab-separated text, including quoted fields and Windows UTF-8 BOM.
Will this update Shopify or my ERP?
No. It creates a change report for review. It does not modify your store, source files, or ERP. Keep your existing import process and backups.
What if SKUs, currencies, or pack sizes differ?
Use two files from the same supplier with the same SKU system, currency, and unit basis. Delta can trim SKU spaces and optionally ignore case. It does not guess equivalent products or convert currencies or packs. Duplicate and blank SKUs stop the comparison.
